Dr. Daniel Bubb
Dan Bubb received his MA in history (2001) from UNLV, and his interdisciplinary Ph.D. in history and political science (2011) from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. He is a former commercial pilot who has published articles on commercial aviation and airport histories in a variety of academic journals and magazines. In 2012, he published his book, Landing in Las Vegas: Commercial Aviation and the Making of a Tourist City (University of Nevada Press). Currently, Dan is an Associate Professor in Residence in the UNLV Honors College. He also serves on the Interview Board at the Kirk Kerkorian UNLV School of Medicine, and advises several Registered Student Organizations among which include Alpha Epsilon Delta, Nevada Beta Chapter, and the pre-professional American Medical Student Organization.
