About the event

The Las Vegas Rescue Mission (LVRM) serves the hungry and homeless in Las Vegas by providing free meals daily, as well as an overnight emergency shelter and a variety of programs for drug and alcohol addicts. We will be volunteering at LVRM by providing assistance during the daily dinner service.

  • Dress Code: Closed-toed shoes, long pants (no leggings), and your AED shirt (or a plain grey/black shirt if you have not received one yet). Also for individuals with long hair, please bring a hair tie. Please do not wear shorts, skirts, low-cut tops, or tank tops! Please note: Masks are not required at this time.
  • LVRM Policy: All personal belongings are to be left in a locked vehicle and volunteers are only to bring in items that will fit in their pockets. LVRM will not be responsible for any items left or stolen in public areas.
  • As always, all humanitarian policies will apply! Please arrive 10-15 minutes early!

Volunteers MUST register through the following link: http://unlvaed.lvrescuemission.volunteerhub.com/

Once you have officially signed up, please send a screenshot to the officer-in-charge- KayLee (freitk1@unlv.nevada.edu).
