Public Health Committee Officers

Chair
Adriana Carrillo
Hi everyone! I am Adriana Carrillo, and I am more than excited to be the head chair of the Public Health committee! Im currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Public Health and minor in Neuroscience and I will go on to pursue my career as a doctor in the future. I hold special passion for the biology of how our brain works and modulates itself, as well as improving community health and accessibility to healthcare! Some other things I love to do in my free time are powerlifting, playing guitar, spending time with my friends, watching some television shows, or listening to music. I love all music ranging from my favorite artist ever The Weeknd to some Mariachi or corridos. I hope to make a positive impact on the UNLV and Las Vegas community by improving health and wellness in the community.

Co-Chair
Erin Adarve
Hi everyone! My name is Erin Adarve, and I’m studying Pre-professional Biology with plans of becoming a Physician Assistant. My hobbies include reading, working out or playing volleyball with my friends, eating good food (Korean food or acai bowls are my favorites), and travel. My favorite book series is The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson, and I would recommend reading it if you’re into Thriller/Mystery books! Aside from medicine, I have a passion in political science and health equity, and being a part of the Public Health Committee allows me to pinpoint areas that require more attention and make change where we are able.
